PRAXI Valuations Hosts 2020 Autumn Summit

Members representing 11 countries gathered virtually for the 2020 Autumn Summit.

Chairman Vito Crosetto and Director Maurizio Negri welcomed members before introducing the first segment of the event “Making Sense of Valuation Standards in the Covid-19 Era”. Ben Elder, Global Director of Valuation of RICS, and Member Chris Grzesik in his role as Chairman of TEGoVA shared recent shifts in valuation standards due to both Covid as well as the evolving nature of the industry.

The second half of the summit was dedicated to “Digital Transformation in Real Estate Valuations”. Manish Shah from Yuvoh Analytics presented “Real Estate Valuations – Big Data Analytics & Artificial Intelligence”. Members Maurizio Negri (PRAXI, Italy), Ioannis Orfanos (Arbitrage Real Estate Advisors, Greece) and Luis Martin Guirado (Gesvalt, Spain) provided guided a member discussion about how to embrace the inevitable digitization of the Real Estate industry and ensure efficient yet high quality valuations.

“Despite not being able to meet in person” said Maurizio Negri, Network Director, “it hasn’t prevented us from supporting each other and sharing our expertise and resources. We look forward to seeing everyone soon”.
