PRAXI Valuations Hosts 2026 Spring Summit in Athens
15 May, 2026
The 2026 Spring Summit of PRAXI Valuations was an important opportunity to welcome our new members in Turkey and explore the latest market trends despite ongoing global uncertainties. Members exchanged perspectives on the evolving real estate landscape, the growing impact of artificial intelligence on professional practice, sustainability trends, and the challenges shaping valuation activity in today’s geopolitical environment.
Day 1 opened with a visit to The Ellinikon Experience Centre, where members explored one of Europe’s largest urban redevelopment projects together with LAMDA Development. The transformation of the former Athens airport into a new sustainable coastal destination provided valuable insight into the future of urban investment and mixed-use development.
The official conference program began with opening remarks from Chairman Vito Crosetto and the introduction of new Turkish member firm EVA Real Estate Appraisal Consultancy, represented by Cansel Yazici and Özdil Şahin.
Key discussions throughout the summit focused on the evolving role of artificial intelligence in valuation and advisory services, the development of Property Value methodologies across European markets, and the growing integration of ESG and Net Zero considerations into real estate investment and valuation practices.
On the second day, members took part in a roundtable discussion examining the impact of geopolitical uncertainty, inflationary pressures, and shifting investor behavior on the valuation sector. The program also included a market outlook presentation by Calliope Akantziliotou, Head of the Real Estate Division at the Bank of Greece, who shared insights into current trends and future expectations for the Greek real estate market.
Commenting on the event, Network Director Maurizio Negri stated: “Athens provided an excellent setting for open discussion, practical exchange, and deeper collaboration among our members at a time when both markets and client expectations are evolving rapidly across Europe.”
